Abstract

The Outline of the Plan for Building a Strong Education Country explicitly calls for “expanding the space for practical education” and promoting the coordinated integration of in-class and out-of-class, on-campus and off-campus, online and offline learning. As an important birthplace of the Great Northern Wilderness Spirit, Shuangyashan City hosts eight farms under the Hongxinglong Branch of Beidahuang Group, forming a resource matrix featuring six major endowments: “granary, orchard, vegetable garden, flower garden, wetland, and border river.” Based on the practical exploration of the Shuangyashan Municipal Bureau of Education and Sports in promoting study-travel education through Hongxinglong farm resources, this paper systematically reviews the three-in-one local implementation pathway of “resources–routes–curricula” and the dual-cycle strategy of “attracting inbound visitors from other provinces.” The study argues that Shuangyashan has initially established a distinctive educational brand centered on the Great Northern Wilderness Spirit, leveraging the institutional advantage of “reclamation–local integration,” using the “Hundred-Lesson Magic Cube” as its curriculum vehicle, and adhering to the bottom-line guarantee of “standardization and quality improvement.” Taking the three-day-two-night course at Youyi Farm (“Number One Farm Under Heaven”) and the one-day course at Wujiuqi Farm (“Cold Frontier Fruit Capital”) as typical cases, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of their curriculum design’s scientific rigor and operability. It also identifies current pain points in base construction and service provider professionalization, proposing targeted improvement measures. It offers a replicable county-level model for resource-based cities seeking to advance the integrated development of red study travel and mobile ideological-political courses.
