The Outline of the Plan for Building a Strong Education Country (2024–2035) explicitly proposes to “expand practical education spaces and fully leverage the educational function of red resources,” requiring the exploration of an educational mechanism that coordinates in-class and after-class activities, integrates on-campus and off-campus efforts, and merges online and offline approaches. As the core carrier of the “walking ideological and political course,” red study tours are a key lever for achieving this strategic goal. This paper takes the premium route themed “Promoting the Spirit of Beidahuang Reclamation” at the Xingkai Lake Study Tour and Practice Education Camp in Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province, as an empirical sample. It systematically analyzes the practical explorations in curriculum standard alignment, objective stratification, process design, and evaluation system. The paper proposes that the deep integration of red study tours with the “walking ideological and political course” should focus on constructing a three-dimensional educational framework characterized by “political guidance, strategic anchoring, and people-centered rooting.” It also provides implementation suggestions from three dimensions: curriculum transformation, teacher collaboration, and evaluation coherence, aiming to offer replicable academic references for the high-quality development of red study tours in old revolutionary base areas and the old industrial bases of Northeast China.
