With the steady advancement of the "Double Reduction" policy, primary school education is faced with the practical requirement of "reducing burdens and improving efficiency". Picture books, as children's books that narrate through the combination of pictures and texts, are vivid, full of childlike fun, and close to the daily life and psychological characteristics of primary school students, making them practical educational resources. This study focuses on exploring the integration strategies of picture book courses and study tour practices. Through the educational form of "picture book reading + study tour practice", it transforms the story scenes in picture books into experiential and exploratory practical classrooms. This provides a concrete implementation model for study tour practice education in the lower grades of primary schools and helps realize the goal of practical education under the "Double Reduction" policy
