The Ministry of Education’s Guidelines on “Learning by Doing” in Science Education for Compulsory Education lists ecological environment as a core theme and requires real-problem-driven, cross-disciplinary project inquiry, with at least one task and no less than four periods per student per semester for grades 4–9, without adding total class hours, and with performance records in comprehensive quality evaluation. Long’anqiao National Wetland Park–Longteng Ecological Hot Spring in Fuyu County offers water diversion from the Wuyuer River, weakly alkaline water in Dajianpaozi, a 53℃ geothermal well at 1,651 m depth, 1,836.5 ha of wetland, five lakes with wooden boardwalks, over 100 bird species including red-crowned cranes, 439 plant species and a wildlife rescue station. Combined with the water-related industrial chain formed by eco-pastures and hot spring wellness, it can serve as a “Learning by Doing” base for life science and environmental science themed “Hometown Crane City — Ecological Pasture”. This paper proposes a five-stage closed loop—pre-question, in-school foundation, wetland field inquiry, school-based modeling, and consortium evaluation—with six task types: hydrology and water quality, weakly alkaline-water genesis, bird line transect survey, plant quadrat, geothermal energy, and pasture material cycling. Under provincial camp standards, dual-teacher teams, safety systems, digital portfolios and education-consortium coordination are constructed to turn northern county wetland resources into regularized science education courses and provide a replicable model.
